In a top of the table clash in Togher Blarney played league leaders Greenwood. Blarney started the game with all the possession for the first 10min and against the run of play Greenwood eventually broke out of there own half on the counter attack and scored to make it 1-0, following the goal both teams had there share of possesion and when Blarney pushed forward to equalise then Greenwood counter attacked for the second time to make it 2-0 after 20min. Blarney were awarded a free kick after 25 min when Billy O'Sullivan was brought down 20 yrds out and Cameron Lynch struck a great effort to the top of the net to make 2-1 and it remained 2-1 up to the break. Blarney started the brighter in the second half and a close range header from Gavin 'Sullivan was saved on the line by the Greenwood keeper to keep it 2-1. Blarney did not have any luck for the remainder of the game and all the 50-50 balls were not going there way and Greenwood scored three more goals to finish the game 5-1. Greenwood deserved there win but the score did not justify the Blarney overall performance on the day. Man of the match was Jack Dennehy.
