10-2 Victory for Development Squad

The development squad recorded a 10 - 2 victory away to Avondale United in the Munster Senior League Junior Division 2 on Sunday 11 Oct 2015 Wayne Long opened the scoring for Blarney with Alan Stewart and Kevin O'Leary adding penalties before Scott Shine's fine strike and a well worked move finished by captain Kieran Murray, had Blarney going in at the break 5-0 up. A poor second half performance from Blarney saw the home side get two quick goals. However, Blarney were never in danger with Scott Shine adding a further 3 in the second 45. Jordan O'Connor and Sean Lynch also got on the score sheet which saw the development squad finish the game in double figures.
