Juniors 2-2 Corinthians

Blarney conceded a goal after 5 minutes of play, but got to grips with the game from the n on. Some nice football on the ground from the back kept Blarney in contention for the rest of the 1st half. The 2nd half saw Blarney get the equaliser after 15 minutes of the restart when Tim O Donovan scored with a spectacular half-volley from 18 yards out. 1-1. 10 minutes later, Noel O Donovan sent a low, hard cross in to the box for Damian Coffey to calmly find the back of the net for Blarney's 2nd goal. Corinthians increased the pressure on the Blarney defence and were eventually awarded a penalty which was converted to make it 2-2. The game finished at that score and the Juniors can be proud of their display against a very strong Premier side. Well done lads.
