U15's 4-2 Lakewood

Blarney recorded an impressive win over Lakewood this weekend .lakewood started stronger with two early chances,one saved well by Anthony Walsh and another important block by Shane Power, Blarney gradually began to take control some good unselfish work on the wing by Dylan O keeffe and a lovely pass by Louie o Sullivan set up Finn keating for his and Blarneys first goal on the 25th minute. Shortly after that Louie set up Finn again after some strong battling in the middle from Oliver keane and Michael White, with Finn flicking the ball into back of the Lakewood net. After some slick passing between himself and Oliver , Finn fed the ball to the feet of Dylan O Keeffe who cooley slotted home to make it 3-0 at half time.Lakewood came out fighting scoring twice to bring the score back to 3-2 but Blarneys back four of Shane Ahern who had an excellent game,Fergal Cremin, Shane Power,and John Forrest held out and with ten minutes to go the impressive Louie O Sullivan had a shot parried away by the Lakewood keeper only for Finn Keating following up and tapping home to claim his hat trick and make it 4-2 to Blarney
