U14's 3-0 Mayfield

Blarney started the brighter and were 1nil up after 10 minutes. After a great run Oliver Keane was fouled in the penalty box, Cathal O Brien made no mistake from the resultant penalty. Blarney were 2 up after 15 mins when Kevin Moynihan burst through the Mayfield defence and slotted home with a neat finish. Blarney dominated the rest of the half and were unlucky on a few occasions not to add a third. A great save from Blarney keeper Jake O Leary a minute before half time ensured Blarney went off at half time with a deserved 2-0 lead. Kevin Moyhihan had Blarney 3nil up early in the second half, after a great run and shot by Daragh Hurley the ball rolled across the box and Kevin made no mistake from 10 yards. Blarney created some good chances in the second half but didn't add any more goals. Well done to all 15 involved and thanks to parents for all the support!
