On Saturday we played our last home league game of the season.The people that came out to watch & support us were treated to a fantastic display of football.Not only did we score 10 goals against a very good team we played some fantastic football and also kept a clean sheet.

From the kick off Scoot Forrest and Jack O Keefe controlled the game from midfield and their creative play was a constant threat.Ronan O Brien was also on top of his game and ended up with a first half hat trick.John Lehane also scored with a top class free kick and Scott Forrest also deservedly got his name on the score sheet.At half time Blarney led 5-0 and the Management team made made a number of substitutions and the guys that came on all had a great game.Again Blarney started off well controlling the pace of the game and in fairness to their keeper and back four were determined to keep another clean sheet.The goals flowed again in the second half with Michael O Mahony, Josh Roberts, John Lehane,Jack O Keefe and Ronan O Brien getting on the score sheet.The game finished 10-0 with some class football having been played by Blarney Utd.

Best for Blarney were Scott Forrest, Ronan O Brien and Jack O Keefe.We now have 3 hard away games to play but with a performance like today I don't think these kids will fear playing any team.Well done lads 6 points clear at the top keep up the good work !!!!!!!
