U13A: BUFC 5-2 Richmond

Our challenge for the title continues with a great display from the lads , from the start we kept possession very well attacking Richmonds from the wings, we had a few corners we came very close to scoring from and then Evan Lucey took the next Corner and Micky Murphy jumped highest ( Micky`s UP ) and buried it into the top corner , a few minutes later Evan Lucey took a free kick from about 30 yards out , he went direct and slotted it just under the crossbar giving the keep no chance. Great free kick Evan. Richmond got themselves a free kick and we didn't defend it proper leading to them getting a goal back before the halftime whistle. we made 2 changes at halftime bringing Keith O`Mahony and Niall Cremin in for Adam Coulter and Anthony Butler . from the start of the second half we dominated the game again but just couldn't break through to goal. we had more corners again and Niall Cremin was providing some great crosses we just couldn't get a head to them. it was time to make another change so on came Fintan Forrest for Stephen Riordan , from centre mid Fintan play some fantastic football totally taking charge of the middle of the park , he passed three fantastic through balls onto his team mates within 5 mins of coming in and Micky got his second of the day from his chance , now Bufc were 3-1 up shortly after with some great passing Micky sending in the final perfect pass to Niall Cremin to slot it into the net we were very comfortable now at 4-1 , maybe we relaxed a bit too much leading to Richmond getting a shot off on our goal through a crowd of players Isaac dived but just couldn't keep it out, 4 - 2 . the last got back at it again this time not taking any chances they kept possesion til they saw the opportunity to go at them and with Micky looking for his hat trick he was determined to get it , with some lovely team effort and passing Micky was at the end of a perfect pass to belt it into the net . Great hat trick Micky. 5 - 2 , WELL DONE LADS. GREAT TEAM EFFORT
